Qu'est-ce qu'une cheminée au bioéthanol ?
Put simply, an ethanol – also known as bioethanol – fireplace is a ventless fireplace that uses alcohol-based ethanol as its fuel source. It’s a renewable energy source and produces a clean, smokeless form of heat, leaving a zero carbon footprint. The result is real flame ambience without the emissions, smoke, soot or odour associated with wood-burning fires. Better for us all and the environment!
Ethanol fireplaces don’t require any pipes, flues, chimneys or utility connections, which means they’re easy to install – and they can be installed in spaces where traditional fireplaces can’t be (such as condos and apartments). The design options are virtually limitless – and they can be freestanding, built-in, and used for indoor or outdoor use.

What is bioethanol?
Bioethanol is a renewable and sustainable fuel source made of pure alcohol. The combustion of bioethanol is clean, which makes it an efficient and effective source of heat because there is no soot, ash or harmful emissions that need to be extracted through a flue - meaning all the heat stays in your room.

Why is it clean-burning?
Bioethanol is produced from agricultural by-products, which burns clean - no smoke, no sparks, no fuss. The combustion of bioethanol results in a clean emission: Heat, Steam and Carbon Dioxide.

Pourquoi est-ce durable ?
During combustion, the emissions from bioethanol are Heat, Steam and a small amount of Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is absorbed by plants, it is then processed via photosynthesis to help the plant grow. This infinite cycle of creation and combustion of energy makes bioethanol a carbon neutral fuel source.

Choose the Right Fuel
EcoSmart Fire uses e-NRG bioethanol fuel, which has been specially formulated and uses only the highest quality ingredients. The e-NRG bottles are also fitted with a flame arrester, making it the safest ethanol fuel available.
Burner technology
Our bioethanol burner is the core product of all of our bioethanol fireplaces, being the chamber that houses the fuel. From the inclusion of multiple built-in safety features to the use of quality, long-lasting materials, our ethanol burners are designed to contain and control the element of fire.

Volume markings
Fuel level markings help determine the amount of fuel in the burner and indicates the MAX fill line for safe fireplace operation.
Deep drawn tank
Our burner tanks are seamless as they are fabricated through a deep-drawn process which eliminates the potential for dangerous leaks.

1. Dedicated filling points
Our burners feature a patented filling point that is separated from the ignition zone and engineered so that the jerry can spout is fully supported prior to releasing the fuel supply. This eliminates the possibility of spilling when fuel is decanted into the burner.
2. Lid shut off systems
The system fits perfectly across the ignition zone to extinguish the flame and, when it is open, denies access to the separated filling point as a deterrent to filling the burner while it is in operation.
3. Mark of authenticity
Every EcoSmart Fire product displays the logo and marks of authenticity on its body so that you can be certain that you’re using the best product available in the market.
